About Us
Tracey Keenan is British and moved to Lausanne with her family in October 2011 after living in Zurich for 11 years. She is a mother of two boys aged 11 and 10 who attend the local Swiss school. She speaks French and German.
Prior to moving to Zurich in 2000, Tracey spent a total of 14 years living in Paris, Basle and Geneva whilst working in international companies. After a 5-year gap, where she worked in New York and London, she was delighted to return to Switzerland, a country she appreciates for its quality of life and a lovely place in which to bring up her children.
In 2005 she founded the Ready.Steady. Zurich! programme to assist ex-pat families new to Zurich . One year later, her first franchise was launched - Ready.Steady. Bern! - followed by Ready.Steady.Luzern! and Zug! in June 2007 - then Ready.Steady. Basel! most recently in the Summer of 2011.
Over the last few years, her business has developed into assisting all types of newcomers to Switzerland in the form of private consultations and in-house corporate programmes, which give her clients a real head start in getting settled into their new environment.
Now that she has relocated to Lausanne, her aim is to launch the same service in Lausanne and the surrounding area with the help of Lausanne-born-and-raised Nadia Leone . Nadia also has an ex-pat experience of her own, having lived with her family in Singapore for 2 years and Zurich for 6 years before returning to Lausanne in 2009. She has three children aged 11, 8 and 2 who attend the local Swiss school. Nadia was raised bilingually in French and Italian and from her time as an ex-pat has become fluent in English and German.
Together our combined experience of moving to Switzerland as an ex-pat and the local knowledge/contacts will ensure that our clients get a real head start with getting settled in Lausanne and the Vaud region.
