About me: Kaya Usher-Samayoa

I am British born and have enjoyed a very international life spending my childhood in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Argentina . Since then I have lived in France, Honduras and the United States. I studied hotel management in Zurich and have worked in a variety of industries - hospitality, pharma, transportation and sales, in both Switzerland and the US.

I feel most at home in an international environment and enjoy using various languages – as well as English, I speak French, German, Luxembourgish, Spanish and Swiss-German.

I live with my husband and my three children (14, 12 and 6) - who go to the local Swiss school - close to Basel . Needless to say, we all love Switzerland.

Not surprisingly, newcomers have often asked me for help in settling down. Thanks to my many moves between various countries and continents and my vast knowledge of Switzerland, I have always been able to provide expats with valuable help and assistance, which is why I am passionate about supporting you through Ready…Steady…Basel!
